About Me View fullsize Gabrielle Holt Hi, my name is Gabby and I am the creator of Imperfect Painter.. I hope to create a space that embraces the imperfections of art and let’s the creative juices run wild, without the strict constraints of our own expectations. I have struggled for a long time with depression and anxiety. For years I was unhappy with my own artwork and fixated on creating “perfect” and realistic paintings - which only lead to disappointment and resentment. It didn’t matter how “good” my art was, I never thought it was good enough. For years I didn’t touch my art, because it felt stressful and made me feel self loathing.
